Have to thank you all for the sea of good thoughts and prayers which carried her through the surgery and recovery this far. Guess those Rice Institute boys like Dr. Andrews with the blessed hands are a pretty good bunch, too. Now she is at home where our younger sister, Wilma, is feeding and fanning her.
Don't know if they got rain in East Texas today, but we got a nice little shower at 4:30 pm. It won't end the drouth, but it did at least sort of wash everything off.
I'm so glad that Captain Courageous finally got to go home, Now we'll see if Will can keep her out of the flower beds."
Mom sends her thanks again to all the messages of love and encouragement. I am looking forward to a visit to Laneville starting a week from today.
